The best way to attack the recruiting process is to break it down by year.
8th Grade and Younger
- Begin following college coaches on X account
- Post your highlights on your X account
- Research schools you think may be a fit academically and athletically for you
Freshman Year
- Research different divisions and schools
- Continue to post your highlights on your X account
- Decide which division you feel is best for you to compete at
- Become familiar with recruiting terms and the recruiting calendar
Sophomore Year
- Begin Building your X Profile and reaching out to college coaches
- You should have a full season highlight video by now that you share with coaches
- Begin contacting coaches at divisions that can recruit you
Junior Year
- The focus is on contacting college coaches
- Finalize your list of target schools
Senior Year
- By this time most of the D1 offers have already been sent out. If you do not have an offer going into your senior year it does not meant you won't be able to play at the the next level you just need to work harder and continue to contact coaches
